Scale with soul

Stepping inside Wise’s Tallinn office feels like entering a living, breathing community. From buzzing cafés to quiet corners for deep focus, the design flows naturally between connection and calm. Every detail plays a role: cafés that spark community, meeting rooms that give teams identity, and wellness and play areas that keep energy balanced.

“It was one huge project made up of hundreds of small ones,” says Rasmus Kabun, Founder and CEO of LÄVI. “Our strength is combining creativity and system — making sure every part, from acoustics to materials, supports the same goal: a space that works beautifully and feels human.”

Behind it all, LÄVI ran a remarkably precise process that turned a massive build into a series of fast, well-coordinated sprints. The office was completed ahead of schedule and within budget — no small feat for a 19,000 m² project.

Build or buy — designing focus the smart way

When it came to quiet spaces, the team faced a familiar question: build small rooms into the layout or buy dedicated office pods? Experience led the answer. “We’ve seen both sides,” says Rasmus. “Built-in rooms often look fine but don’t always perform — sound leaks, and it’s hard to know whether the design or construction caused it. In the end, the client is unhappy.”

Choosing ready-made pods meant less acoustic risk, faster implementation, and long-term flexibility. It was also the more sustainable choice. “If the company moves, the pods move with them,” Kabun explains. “You can’t take built walls with you but you’ve still paid for them. Buying pods is risk minimisation — a more sustainable and smarter decision.”
