Introducing Silen Care: Your Simple Web Tool for Warranty Compliance

From January 1, 2025, to qualify for Silen warranty coverage, all assembly and maintenance must be performed using the Silen assembly and maintenance web app called Silen Care.

Silen Care is a convenient web application designed to simplify the process of setting up and maintaining your Silen products. No app downloads are needed. All you need is a phone with a camera to scan the QR code on your Silen package and follow the simple instructions. 

This not only helps ensure proper assembly and maintenance of your Silen product, but also maximizes product longevity and improves clarity and speed in resolving any claims-related issues. 

How does it work? 

It’s really simple. Follow these 6 easy steps: 

STEP 1: Use your smartphone to scan the QR code on your Silen product package.

STEP 2: The QR code opens the Silen Care web app, already linked to your product. No login is required. 

STEP 3: Choose your language. For zero misunderstandings, we strongly recommend using English. If necessary, there is an option to use Google machine translation.

STEP 4: Click on Assembly Manuals and select the one that matches your product. Please note that to maintain warranty protection, you must follow the assembly instructions precisely when assembling your product.

STEP 5: After your Silen product is correctly assembled as per the manual, select Assembly Reports and fill in the required info. The app will guide you through the process.

STEP 6: Take a photo of the product label and tag the necessary confirmations. Then, snap a final picture of the assembled product and hit confirm—your Silen warranty is now active.

PLEASE NOTE: The manufacturer’s warranty period is 2 years and begins from the date of the first installation report (or no later than 3 months after the product leaves the Silen factory). The warranty is applicable only if all assembly, disassembly, and maintenance procedures are performed on the product exactly as instructed and by accredited Silen reseller assembly and maintenance teams.

Extend your warranty for up to 5 years with Silen Care! 

With Silen Care, you can extend your warranty for up to five years. Simply complete the annual maintenance process at the end of your 2-year standard warranty term as follows: 

STEP 1: Scan the QR code on the right-side sticker at the bottom of the product with your smartphone to open the Silen Care web app.
PS. On the Chatbox Single, the sticker is located under the desk inside the pod.

STEP 2: Fill in the required info under the Inspections and Service Reports.

STEP 3: To enjoy extended warranty protection, you must perform maintenance on your product precisely according to the instructions and then tag the necessary confirmations. Finally, snap a picture of the product and hit confirm—your Silen extended warranty is now active for another year.

PLEASE NOTE: The extended 2 + 3 year warranty is only applicable if annual maintenance procedures are performed on your product on time, exactly as instructed, and by accredited Silen reseller assembly and maintenance teams.

Report a claim 

With Silen Care, you can now also report a claim directly through the Silen Care web app. Simply click "File a Damage or Quality Claim" in the web app and fill in the short smart sheet questionnaire to submit your claim. Alternatively, you can also access the claims smart sheet directly through this website — claims.silen.com.
