Silen earns EcoVadis Bronze for verified sustainability performance
We are proud to share that we have earned an EcoVadis Bronze rating, placing us among the top third of all companies assessed. It is an important milestone and a clear signal that our sustainability work is not only progressing but also meeting recognised global standards. And while we value this recognition, we are not planning to stop at Bronze — this is a checkpoint on a much longer journey.
What EcoVadis measures and why it matters
EcoVadis is the leading global platform for evaluating corporate sustainability. It assesses companies across four areas that cover the full breadth of responsible business:
Environment: how a company manages its environmental impact, from energy use and emissions to materials and waste.
Labour and human rights: how it protects people, supports fair working conditions and ensures safe, ethical practices throughout its operations.
Ethics: how it prevents corruption, ensures transparency and upholds responsible business conduct.
Sustainable procurement: how it evaluates and manages the sustainability of its supply chain and partners.
These areas are scored based on documented policies, concrete actions and verified results. EcoVadis does not assess intentions; it measures evidence.
What sets EcoVadis apart is its global scale. More than three million companies have been screened, and over 150,000 have been fully rated across more than 185 countries and 250 industries. This creates a reliable, data-driven benchmark for comparing sustainability performance worldwide.
Because the system is strictly evidence based and measured against such a large international dataset, EcoVadis ratings are widely trusted by organisations that want to work with responsible partners.
What Bronze means for Silen and what comes next
A Bronze rating places us among the top 35 percent of rated companies worldwide. It shows that we have solid foundations in place and that our sustainability work is properly structured and verified. More importantly, it gives us a clear view of where we can improve. After receiving the results, we analysed every part of the scorecard and created a focused plan to strengthen our work across all four areas.
This milestone also reinforces a message that matters deeply to us: Silen Zero is not a campaign. It is a long-term commitment that shapes how we design products, choose materials and manage our operations. The EcoVadis assessment is a valuable checkpoint, but the real progress comes from the continuous work behind the scenes.
We are proud of the recognition, and we are already moving forward. Our aim is simple: improve year by year and make Silen a more responsible company in everything we do.
